Work-out, Work-in?

All this talk about "shred" and "c25k" and "hula hoops." Where does it end, and where do I start? I have done very well the past two weeks to get used to eating healthy. Drinking all my water, eating all my veggies, and getting in healthy oils and such. But the eating part was never completely the problem...being lazy was!

I have been reading others blogs about their work out strategy's and I am very inspired. I even went to the gym today and did some great stuff. The gym said "Hello, we have never been properly introduced! I am here to kick your butt!" That is exactly what I need, a good swift kick in the butt! Was it enough, should I have pushed myself harder? I want to be fit AND healthy. I mean Hawaii is calling my name, and I need to do something to work down this weight. Anyone have any starter tips? For the first time in my life I am willing to do the work! I am praying that the motivation stays up!

P.S. Thanks for those of you who have commented/followed! It really helps to know someone might be reading....I will be reading your blogs as well!!

The Advantages of Having a Little Sister!

Ah.....my pride and joy! Rachael Nicole is my wonderful 13 y/o sister. She is the only thing I ever brag about. In fact I think she is a little-me! The scary part is that she looks up to me. She loves the things that I like, and listens to every word I say! Though I can't say that I am a bad example, I do have to be careful about how present myself when I am with her. Needless to say anytime we are together, she gives me a chance to "geek-out". We both are Jason Mraz fans, and this past Friday we went to one of his concerts. I have been to many, but this was Rachael's first Jason experience! Since Jason was in his home town, he did an awesome acoustic show, with a really long set! If you have not listen to much Jason Mraz than what is on the radio I suggest you purchase a live album of him, this is when he is at his best! He played all but one song that we wanted to hear, and I ended up with a set list from the stage! Ah....what an adventure, thanks for letting me share it!

Oh Brother....Part 2

Remeber that evil little boy who used to beat me up and call me names? The one I told you about? Yeah, my big brother (by big I really mean big, the dude is 6'5!). Well I was very suprised with him. We had a blast! We talked (drank) til long hours into the night while I was at his house. No matter how long we spend apart, we still have the same taste in everything! We talked music, movies, comedy acts! His wife April, is a great cook, and a food pusher, but I didn't mind. All this to say, I had no reason to be nervous. Infact I will be planning trips back there soon! (Brother and Wife in picture)
P.S. Check the weigh in stats on your right-----> I lost 3.6! Eat that turkey day! Even with a food pusher around I can still do well!
